The UFCW Women’s Network Region 1 is proud to support working parents by offering child care grants to eligible members. If you’re a UFCW or RWDSU member in need of financial assistance with child care costs, this grant could help ease the burden!
Who Can Apply?
To qualify for the 2025 UFCW Women’s Network Region 1 Child Care Grant, applicants must:
✅ Be a UFCW or RWDSU member in good standing for at least one (1) year
✅ Have a dependent child (or children) actively enrolled in child care, including
✅ Work outside the home
✅ Use a qualified child care provider that is either licensed by the state or registered with the IRS
✅ Not have been awarded the grant in the previous year (but past recipients can reapply in future years)
How to Apply
To be considered, applicants must complete the attached application and submit the following:
📌 Previous year’s Income Tax Form (1040 Form)
📌 Proof of past payments to your child care provider
📌 Proof of child care expenses (including invoices, bills, or receipts signed by the caregiver)
📌 Optional: A note with any additional information you’d like the selection committee to consider
